The Director of Sales’ purpose is to broaden and expand our customer base in the finance industry. The Director of Sales plays a crucial role in ensuring our current product line evolves with the market needs and creates growth in our new and current products. They will be focused on crafting high-quality experiences for customers and developing strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role will also require the incumbent to closely collaborate with a team of talented people to drive partner growth, product quality and innovation across products that set Inovatec apart from others. As a sales leader within the company, they will be responsible for ensuring we are consistently going above and beyond, exceeding expectations, and finding ways to reach new customers, marketplaces, improve efficiencies and customer relationships.


  • Meet/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory
  • Participate in developing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Schedule and lead new customer demo sessions
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentation
  • Participate in regular training sessions to be thoroughly familiar with all products and features
  • Track and log all sales-related activities using Inovatec’s CRM solution
  • Provide regular feedback to product and customer success teams based on regular interaction with new customers
  • Work closely with marketing teams and provide feedback
  • Understand product trends and competitive threats to enable strategic planning
  • Participate in client needs analysis and market research needed to implement client and market segmentation strategy to analyze, size, and investigate attractiveness/potential of new markets, products, and channels related to new products
  • Work closely with various partners and service providers
  • Create and submit proposals and respond to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs

Work Experience / Education / Designations

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Proven strong relationship management skills
  • Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-starter, achievement-oriented, motivated and proven problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in auto, commercial, power sports or asset financing would be beneficial
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
